Shoshana Berkowitz
Chair of the Board of Directors
A certified public accountant, she holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting, and a master’s degree in law from Bar-Ilan University. She has held senior management positions for over 30 years in a publicly traded company on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. A resident of Rishon LeZion, she is married, a mother of three, and a grandmother of two. Her son has lived in Kfar Shimon since 1999.
Moshe Felbes
First Chair of the Board of Directors
He is a clinical psychologist, born in Kibbutz Ein HaShofet. After being injured in the Six-Day War, he studied psychology, anthropology, and sociology at Tel Aviv University and served as a psychologist in the kibbutz education system. He worked to integrate special education into the kibbutz movement and guided teams and parents in kindergartens — all while combining teaching and school management in the kibbutz education system with agricultural work. He has been involved with the association since its inception and contributed to the establishment of the village. He lives in Zikhron Yaakov and is a married father of three and grandfather of five.
Avi Amir
A businessman who grew up in Rishon LeZion, Amir was the owner of the travel companies Neot HaKikar and The Geographic Company. He began his professional career as a tour guide in the Sinai Peninsula from the Six-Day War until the Israeli withdrawal. His son has lived in Kfar Shimon since 1999. His family resides on a farm and operates a culinary center. He is married, the father of three, and a grandfather of seven.
Adaor Ben Aba
Born in Jerusalem, he is a clinical psychologist. He served as Chief Psychologist and Director of the Psychological Service at the Jerusalem Mental Health Center, which includes the Eitanim and Kfar Shaul hospitals and nine community clinics in the greater Jerusalem area. Previously, he managed the Child and Family Therapy Clinic of the Jerusalem Mental Health Center. He currently volunteers as CEO of the Friends Association of the Jerusalem Mental Health Center.
In early 2008, during Operation Cast Lead, he served as an officer for Civilian Behavior in the Home Front Command, where he visited Kfar Shimon, met the residents, and was deeply impressed. He joined the association and, after several years, was elected to the board. He is a devoted fan of Hapoel Jerusalem and is a married father of one son and a grandfather of two.
